Library Director

Naomi Hagerman- Naomi has been the Library Director since 2020. Prior to becoming the Director, Naomi was a work-from-home customer service/tech support agent for multiple companies (including Amazon and Apple) and stayed busy with the extracurricular activities of her four school-age children. Naomi is currently working towards her MBA at Salem University and volunteers actively in the community.

Assistant Librarian

Brenda Hughart- Brenda has been the Assistant Librarian since 2017. Before joining the Cowen Public Library staff, Brenda spent 30 years at Webster County High School as a teacher and librarian. She has since retired from the school but continues to offer her services as a substitute teacher when needed. 

Library Aide

Nichola Dominguez- Nichola has been a Library Aide since the summer of 2020. She came to Cowen Public Library through a work program with the Department of Rehabilitation. Once her program is complete in Aug 2021 she will be beginning her freshman year at West Liberty University. Nichola will still continue to volunteer at the library when she is on breaks from college.

Library Aide

Matthew Moore- Matt has been a Library Aide since the summer of 2020. He came to Cowen Public Library through a work program with the Department of Rehabilitation. Upon completion of the program Matt was hired on permanently as a part-time Aide. Matt is a graduate of Webster County High School, Class of 2019.
